back in cologne

i just arrived back in cologne and want to give you important information about the next meeting:

Next official meeting will be on tuesday the 6th may. It´ll start at 12 o´clock until 16.30. there will be a break of half an hour betwwen this.

We are very happy that on tuesday we will get support by Sara and Dennis from the t house.  We, especially sara already started to think about good methods that will help us to continue our work very well.

I hope you all are looking forward to this and want to support this meeting: because we need your help to prepare a bit:

We need a lot magazines, newspapers, stuff like this. Please everybode, bring same things with you.

Tuesday Meeting

hey everyone.

i talked to birgit and she wont be with us on tuesday.

I invited Sara and dennis from the t house to have a meeting with us and to continue working on the subject.

I think tahts a great opportunity for us and them.

All the informations about when and wher you will get later.

I just recognized that it´s really hard to find out quickly to what date and happening the blog protocols are related. Would it be possible to write the date and maybe a short description in the headline? maybe then it becomes easier for the ones who have not been here.

Overview of the first dag in Eindhoven/ group 3

Dear  all

This is a short overview over our activities on the first day here in Eindhoven so you know what is going on. The interviews with the women and details about our work are going to be posted soon. The reflection and summing up of the interviews takes time and is also quite emotional for those who had contact with the women.

TUESDAG

10:00

We arrived in Eindhoven

11:00

Meeting at the T-huis with group 2, Sara and Dennis. We got a short presentation of the work the group has done during the week and started to plan the following days. That was a great start and really heldped us to get started immediately. 

14:00

Tanja, Julia and Sylvia went to meet 3 “new” women that agreed to meet with us. They met them for lunch and coffee and afterwards the girls went shopping with them. They all had a budget of 25 € to shop for.

The rest of the group went to see the small area where the ”window prostitutes” work and offer themselves from 2 am until 2 pm.

16:30

We picked up our bikes and met Cees Donkers (Urban Designer at the design school in Eindhoven) We invited him for a coffee and talked to him about the project and the article that was in the newspaper yesterday.
He is really an inspiring man!

20:00

In the evening the whole group went to see the Tipplezone. Dennis from the T-huis was so nice to join us. Tanja went to the container together with Sylvia, Johanna and Katharina to introduce them to the caretakers. Sylvia, Johanna and Katharina spend several hours there. The rest of us only drove through the zone and went to the hotel agian to sum op the interview material.

WEDNESDAG

10:15    We met in the hotel to plan the day.
12:30    Working on the interview material at the T-huis.
Coming up…..

Thursdag evening the girls that haven’t been to the container yet, are going there to talk to the caretakers and experience the Tipplezone ‘ in action’.

We are trying to arrange some more interviews and also a meeting with the students from the Design Academy Eindhoven to exchange our thoughts about the project.

We are working hard on summing up and posting our interviews and reflections on the blog so everyone can take a ‘deeper dive’ into the current findings.

Police Contact

For those who want to interview someone from the Eindhoven police (which may be interesting) can call +31 900 88 44 and ask for Mr. Hans Giroldi. He’s the contact person for the police and he will arrange an interview. I guess this should be important for the group which is staying right now.
